One of the most mind-blowing motorcycle designs to be conceived in Science-Fiction is about to hit the streets in a big way. Well at least 10 of them will. A bike shop based in Floria, USA have constructed 10 custom-made Tron Light Bikes. The best part (aside from how stunning they look), is that they’re all street legal. Costing $55,000 a pop or around £35,000, you can get your mits on a very close copy of the iconic cycle.
The creators at Parker Brothers Custom Choppers say that the bike was designed and modelled from images of the CGI movie version found off the web. Quite an impressive feat in my opinion. The bike’s constructed using a steel frame and fiberglass bodywork and comes with the option of a built-in iPad that display the cycle’s gauges. A very clever innovation of the iPad.
Although the actual cycle sounds more like a Harley and speeds away at moped like speeds(although that could just be for testing purposes), this would still be one hell of a cycle to own and when an if I ever do win the lottery, you can bet your house that I’ll be on the phone reserving myself my very own Tron cycle.
