Death of Spider-Man?

I have been sceptical over the future of the Ultimate Universe ever since the Ultimatum event.

But with the recent re-launch with Brian Michael Bendis back on the helm of Spider-man and Mark Millar on the Ultimates, you cannot help but feel a great sense of nostalgia and a dawning of excitement, as this dream team is once again reunited.

The Physics of Superman

A tougher question is how in the world he is seeing these wavelengths in the first place. X-Rays are hard to come by on earth. In medicine, they’re created by aiming a high energy electron beam at a target made of tungsten, usually in a vacuum tube. Either the electrons in the beam knock an electron off of an atom of tungsten, causing a higher electron to drop and fill its place, or the nucleus of the tungsten makes the electron beam veer off-target.

Review: X-Men First Class

Posted by Singloon on 08 Jun 2011 / 0 Comment

This film is essentially a period piece based in the 60s, with the conflicts of mutants emerging and mirroring the Cuban missile crisis. The film explores the origins of Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr played respectively by James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. The antagonist is not in fact Lensherr AKA Magneto but Sebastian Shaw and the Hellfire Club. The film also establishes the origins of a modest X-Men group tutored by Xavier and Lensherr.

FigurePrints is divided into two main sections, their Xbox Live Avatar service and their World of Warcraft Bust Models for you to create your very own models. The process was extremely simple and while my Avatar is only using the basic clothes and features, you can be sure to show off your fully kitted out Avatars now live in physical form.

Talk of Batman reboot already begins

Posted by Singloon on 29 Mar 2011 / 2 Comments

The Dark Knight Rises will be the last of Christopher Nolan’s Batman films and provides a nice closure to the trilogy. This will no doubt worry Warner Bros executives as they will have undoubtedly looked towards extending Nolan’s Batman universe to earn countless profits. However reports from the LA times has indicated that Batman will in fact be rebooted under both Christopher Nolan and his wife Emma Thomas after The Dark Knight Rises hits the screens. Nolan has been given the role of producer before on the Superman: Man of Steel project, so it is not a shock that he’s taking control of this DC unit.
