We’re fast approaching the end of the 2011 and as per tradition, top five lists of movies, video games and pretty much everything in between will start popping up around the net. But we wanted to ask, what was your favourite film this year?

Big news yesterday as the long awaited trailer to next year’s biggest comic book movie finally came out and into the open. We see all the main characters in their respective outfits along with newcomers Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. Aside from a very Transformer-esque opening sequence, the rest of the trailer looks just as you’d expect with the usual hollywood dose of explosions and flipping cars. The Avengers is due for release in May 2012.

With the swarms of people who descend upon the San Diego Comic Con every year, it is no surprise that the big studios release some of their biggest new announcements and media out into the wild. Slowly Marvel has been releasing a collection of movie posters for the Avengers movie and Topless Robot have the fully combined poster in all it’s glory.
